There are some bottles gone unswatched in my stash, but that number is decreasing! I recently tried out a long overdue bottle from SpaRitual, in the shade Optical Illusion. Was this a win or nah? Let’s check it out.
This green shimmer looked like a great way to kick off fall shades. Green is my absolute favorite color, and if it’s in pretty shimmer form – win. But did this polish hold up?
Optical Illusion is a shimmer polish with a variety of golds and greens. Even though these photos look pretty luscious, this was a three coater. Don’t expect a one-coater miracle (those aren’t exactly common among any polish). This one was a bit tricky because the cuticle layer would thin out when I tried to even out the polish on the nail. The third coat eventually leveled out with some careful application, but it wasn’t anything challenging. As long as you are confident in controlling the polish and patient, this is a great keeper in your collection! I’m pretty stoked about it.
This shade is available at SpaRitual, and costs USD $12.00. I’ve seen this brand in salons and actually picked this up when I got a massage in one! Their shades are really gorgeous so I’m looking forward to trying out more from them.
Have you used SpaRitual before or had it applied at a salon?
