There are two things ingrained in my every day life – nail polish and coffee. What happens when you combine them? You get Nails inc’s newest blend – Caffeine Hit… and one VERY happy gal.
Nails inc introduced four beautiful shades this fall that are apparently the world’s caffeine-infused nail polish. If you check out the ingredients, caffeine is the final listed. Although that likely means there isn’t much caffeine in the formula, who cares? The colors are beautiful and were a dream application. There are three cremes and one glitter party. Per the normal polish formula we can expect from the brand, each creme took two coats for opacity. The glitter shade will take about three coats for a better guarantee of opacity. I honestly had zero complaints about this collection – I’m a sucker for browns that remind me of coffee!
Espresso Martini is a dark brown crème, the shade of every cup of coffee I take – black with no sugar, no cream, just straight up! It doesn’t look completely black when worn, you can still tell it’s brown. Fun fact – one of my favorite drinks is a large black coffee with three espresso shots at Peet’s coffee.
Afternoon Mocha is a mauve-y brown crème. This shade was difficult to capture accurately on camera so I had to do some color adjustments to reflect how beautiful it is. Even though it’s a warm undertone mauve that brought out my redness, I’m still in love with it. It wasn’t too exreme of a warm side and just enough brown.
Chai Kiss is a light brown crème. Is it strange to call a polish shade fun? Because that’s what happened. If you take cream and sugar in your coffee, then this one is for you!
Rise and Grind is a fine glitter bomb infused with golds and auburns. I’m not one to sport glitter as frequently but dang – this is truly a unique mix of glitter. The fine glitters will make for fun nail art with the rest of these shades.
