Did you pick anything up during the Nordstrom’s big summer sale? (let me know below, I love to hear what people find!) I told myself there wouldn’t be anything… and then I looked in the beauty section. Low and behold, there was butter LONDON’s Cashmere Creme set consisting of six beautiful shades in the perfect size of 0.2 oz. For some reason I go crazy over the brushes in their half-sizes. It applies perfectly. But how did the polish stand? Read on to find out…
The collection consists of all cremes in butter LONDON’s signature Patent Shine 10x, which is supposed to last up to 10 days of wear with a gel-like finish and shine. The formula claims to contain bamboo extract to promote stronger nails and prevent breaking/peeling. In addition to the 0.2 oz brush size that I love, they’re also 8-Free! I have a breakdown of each shade, although the formula was really consistent.
Double Cream is a gorgeous off-white. My first thought was, “This would be perfect for a wedding!” It reminded me of bridal-white. This was one of my favorites.
Twee is a light-pink, which was a little difficult for me to capture how it was in person. It’s really elegant!
High Street is a medium-mauved shade. This surprisingly disappointed me. It’s a beautiful shade but wasn’t as flattering with my skin tone. I’m yellow-based with some redness in the hands, which it seemed to bring out. This color would look flattering on the paler end or darker skin tone range.
Toffee Apple is perfect for the fall! It’s a brown nude creme perfect for any skin tone. The application was slightly tricky to level out but manageable overall.
Lush is described as a dusty purple creme, but I thought it was more of a berry with a hint of purple. It’s a gorgeous shade that would be great in a professional setting if you’re looking for a pop of color. This had one of the best applications of the set.
This was hands down my favorite shade. Londoner applied beautifully without any issues. It’s described as a denim creme, which is spot-on. I might end up sporting this throughout Fall!
Overall, this was a great deal during the Nordstrom sale but you can still pick it up at butter London’s site for $44.00. They’re fitting for Fall, even the lighter shades. Did you pick up anything during Nordstom’s sale, or want to see any specific polishes swatched here? Leave a comment below!
