As you most likely know already, Sephora had their blowout Beauty Insider Appreciation Week offering multiple points per purchase. I went a little crazy with purchases (hey, if you know you’re going to buy a refill, why not get it when you receive more points?) and am passing out just looking at these photos again. Read ahead for more pictures…
There were some great samples and promotional codes to take advantage of during the week, including GLAMGLOW samples and a fantastic Giorgio Armani trio for Rouges (the set include the lip maestro, Black Ecstasy mascara, and fluid sheer). The photos also include samples I received at the Sephora Beauty Before Brunch shopping event and a Marc Jacobs lipstick sample for renewing Sephora Rouge. (I’m hanging my head in a bit of shame)
There’s nail polish out for delivery as I type this, so sadly those won’t be featured in the photos. But I’ll be testing them out for a post, so keep an eye out! The items I am most excited about from the week of spending:
- Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed in Champagne Pop : This shimmery highlighter is a dream come true. I’ve already used it – it does the trick! It works extremely well for skin tones ranging from light-tan to medium-dark. My skin tone at the moment is a solid medium since I was in San Diego.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW™ Pomade and Brush #12 : For years I’ve experimented on different products for my thin eyebrows, from eyeliners to powder. This one is very likely the winner! The gel is creamy without oversaturating and the #12 brush’s grooming brush cleans up strokes seamlessly.
- Marc Jacobs Beauty Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate : For a while I’ve been applying a light layer of bronzer to adjust shades to match my skin when it’s tanned. I estimated the shade before purchase (a risky move!) and it was fortunately spot-on! For reference, the shade is #33 Beige. It applies like a dream – and the packaging is simply gorgeous.
- Nails Inc : I am absolutely in love with their NAILKALE line. The brush is rounded at the end (for those who love a curved cuticle manicure) and I have yet to come across a alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet Nail Collection , along with their Kensington Caviar top coat, Petticoat Lane, and Victoria. I highly recommend their line!
Overall, I’m happy with my purchases and am especially excited to start testing the Nails Inc. Keep an eye out for future posts on those!
